Arab Downtown Association

The Arab Downtown Association's (ADA) mission is to promote and support quality economic, cultural and residential development of downtown Arab, while embracing the historical significance of our Downtown Area. With the help of the City of Arab, The Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Revitalization Board, steps are being made to have our entire Downtown designated as a Historical District, which will allow our City to become one of the few "small downtowns" in North Alabama that is growing, revitalizing and prospering.

Membership is open to any person or organization interested in supporting the downtown community. Members reflect a wide variety of residents, property owners, business professionals, retailers and restaurants. The Arab Downtown Association produces a number of major events in downtown, including: the Poke Salat Festival and The Main Event.

The annual membership fee provides for collective advertising, streetscape projects and ongoing projects of the ADA.

Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at Carter's Coffee Cafe. Meetings begin at 5:10 p.m.

If you are interested in joining the ADA, please email for more information.
